HF-400 models now available with a 2-speed motor
We've upgraded the HF-400 with a 2-speed motor to power through BIG, tough wood. The motor automatically switches between speeds as needed to give more torque in the lower speed. Mini excavators vary between manufacturers and models in hydraulic flow/power. The 2-speed motor is the perfect addition to maintain splitting productivity, especially in tough wood.

HF-400 Cone Splitter Now Available With Thumb Bracket
U.S. Pride now offers a thumb bracket to use in conjunction with your mini excavator's manual or hydraulic thumb. This new bracket will give your mini excavator thumb a steel bracket to clamp against allowing you to move material without damaging the cone splitter housing.

New to the U.S. Pride splitter lineup is the HF-400 cone screw splitter, designed specifically for mini excavators. While we've had auger cone splitters running on mini excavators for years, it was time to develop and optimize a splitter specifically for this carrier. Excavators can put different stresses on cone screw splitters compared to skid loaders, or other front loader style carriers. U.S. Pride has been known for building supremely durable equipment. To continue that legacy, we increased the main shaft and bearings for added strength. This also allowed us to use a larger splitting cone for increased productivity.
